If you live in the Sioux Lookout area, we will deliver your books to your place of residence the same day starting at $5.00 (tax free).
Customers who reside in Dryden and it's surrounding areas are able to receive home delivery on certain days of the month (when we are in town).

For Customers residing in Dryden and it's surrounding areas that wish to book a home delivery on a day we are not already scheduled to come to town, we will charge a delivery fee of $10.00 (tax free).

For any areas outside the above-stated areas, delivery time-frames and price will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

To order your books online

Simply find them through our general book search engine and add them to our easy-to-use cart. Pick-up and shipping options will be presented to you during the check-out process.
If you order your book(s) now, when will they arrive?

* All orders placed Monday to Friday before 12 PM (noon) will be delivered to the delivery address between 2 PM and 6 PM**.
* Orders placed after the 12 PM deadline or during weekends will be delivered during the next business day delivery window (i.e. 2 PM and 6 PM**).

What if you live outside of the predetermined delivery areas or cannot be home during the normal delivery window?

If you live outside of the Sioux Lookout area covered by our usual delivery service, or would like to request a different delivery window, please contact us, 1-866-624-3405, freight@siouxlookoutbooks.com. The delivery price will be calculated by staff according to the address for delivery, the weight of the package, area for delivery, as well as time of delivery. An employee will confirm pricing of delivery before charging you.
When ordering online, you can also choose to have the books set aside for in-store pick-up. This option is free and will allow you to skip any possible waiting times.

*Any orders that cannot be put into a bag or box of average size or are over the weight limit (i.e. too many items on the order, order over 15lbs) will be subject to an additional charge. Customers will be contacted in this event; however, we will not wait for confirmation and items will leave within the normal shipping window.

*Items ordered online are subject to the normal and current Sioux Lookout Books returns policy. You will be provided with an original receipt with your order.

** No cancellation is possible after 12 PM on the day delivery is scheduled.

**Once an online order is placed for delivery it is your responsibility to ensure that the delivery address has been entered correctly and that someone will be available at the delivery address to accept delivery and sign for your order during the delivery window.

**Should the delivery address not be entered properly, and should the order be delivered to the incorrect address as a result, Sioux Lookout Books takes no responsibility for the loss of these items. It will be the customer’s responsibility to arrange to retrieve these items or to get ordered items back to Sioux Lookout Books in perfect condition (for refund) or to pay for a second order. No refunds will be issued without the items being returned in perfect condition, and no second orders will be sent out without receiving second payment.

**Should the delivery fail for any reason, your order will have to be returned to the store and you will be charged for this return trip (same price as original delivery). Your order will then be converted to a pick-up order and held for one week (7 days from start of delivery day). Should you not present yourself to claim your order within one week; you will be refunded the price of the ordered items but not the delivery and return charges.

Delivery is available Monday to Friday.

* Pick-up order placed before noon will be ready after 2pm.
* Orders placed after 12pm will be ready for pickup after 4pm.
* Orders for pick-up received after 4pm will be ready the following day at noon.
* Pick-up orders placed during the weekend (starting after 4pm on Friday)will be ready on Monday at 12pm.
* As orders may not be treated immediately if placed after an order window has closed (i.e. orders placed on weekends will not be processed until Monday morning) stock levels are subject to change and availability may differ. Customers will be notified if any items are unavailable. *some limitations do apply:

SPECIAL ORDERS

If you are looking for a specific book that we do not have in stock, we can help you find it. If the book is in print, we will be happy to order a copy or as many copies as you need. If it is no longer in print, we can help you find a used copy of the book at a price that is satisfactory to you.

Return Policy

Note: All returns must be accompanied by their original receipts.

1.Used textbooks books may be returned in saleable condition within seven (7) days of their purchase.

2.Books purchased from the Sioux Lookout Book’s consignment and clearance inventory are final sale.

3. Used Non-Fiction, and Fiction books (i.e. Non-textbooks) may be returned within three (3) days of purchase. See the Returns Criteria table below for more information.

4. Brand New Non-Fiction, and Fiction books (i.e. Non-textbooks) may be returned within five (5) days of purchase. See the Returns Criteria table below for more information.

Items which cannot be refunded or returned unless they are found to have a defect

• Special ordered items
• Clearance items (no exceptions)

Promotional or discounted items

Promotional or discounted items are final sale. No refunds or exchanges.

Return and exchange criteria:

1. If the book/item was purchased wrapped, it must be returned in its original wrapping still sealed.
2. All additional materials included with the book/item must accompany the book for return, i.e. CD, web access card, etc., which must be unopened and unused.
3. Any stains, discoloration or marks of any kind on either the inside or outside of the book/item will render the book/item unacceptable for return.
4. Any crushed corners will render a book/item unacceptable for return.
5. If the spine is broken, or the book falls open on its own the book is unacceptable for return.
6. Any visible creases on the cover or any pages will render a book unacceptable for return.
